There is a beautiful legend of the snowdrop. It says that as God created the world in six days, there was a lot to be done. A lot of decisions were to be made and a lot of characteristics to be given to each part of the world, each animal and every plant. At some point there was what seemed like a shortage of colours, or maybe there was shortage of imagination, or maybe it was the hurry in which all the decisions were made?!

What a fantastic quote by Mahatma Gandhi:

“Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words.
Keep your words positive because your words become your behavior.
Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habits.
Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values.
Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.”

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson
about a battle that goes on inside all people.
He said, “My son, the battle is between two
wolves that dwell inside each and everyone of us.

“One is Evil.
It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority,
lies, false pride, superiority and ego.

The other is Good.
It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity,
truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for
a minute, and then asked his grandfather:
“Which wolf will win ?”

The old Cherokee simply replied:
The one you feed.”

According to Sri Swami Satchidananda, one of the most revered Yoga masters of our time:

It’s better to say, “I am happy,” than, “I want to be happy.” The minute you say, “I want to be happy,” that very want disturbs the mind.

So what happens if you get what you want?

How many people want something this very minute, a new phone, a designer bag, that amazing car you saw advertised yesterday? If you are caught up in this, you’ll say, “I can’t be happy without that thing.” So you pay the price.

First you want it, then you get it. So where are you now? The same place you were before you wanted it. Happy.

You were happy before you wanted the new car. The moment you wanted it, you became unhappy. And the moment you got it, you were happy again. Where did the happiness come from? The thing by itself didn’t give you any happiness. You regained the happiness when you took the want back or when you fulfilled the cavity or depression created by the want.

Ask yourself this, are you truly happy this very minute of your life? What would really change if you got that thing you so badly want?

The moment you stop wanting something…you will actually receive more than you could imagine. I shall give you a personal example: for this Christmas I didnt want any presents, and I honestly didnt! When it came to gift-giving time, what was waiting for me under the tree was nothing less than a shiny new iPad…

So try to let go of the “want” feeling, just accept what you have and good things will come to you!

Saying "I am" followed by whatever you then say, is literally one of THE most powerful things human beings say...sadly frequently followed by a negative - such as "tired", "sick", "depressed" etc etc...

ANYTHING you say after "I am" will manifest eventually!!

When someone says "I am" he is using the creative attribute of the Godhead and announcing creation at his particular point in the universe.

The vibratory action of the word "I am" either in thought or spoken word is the release of the Power of Creation, and whatever follows that decree is instantly impressed upon the electronic substance of the ethers (energy field around you - its SERIOUSLY sensitive!)

So lets be positive and say the following EVERY morning:

I am part of the Universal Mind and beyond
I am one with life and all life forms and they are one with me
I am my past and my present and my future and the spiritual path that binds them like a thread as one
I am perfect love
I am perfect light
I am perfect truth
I am perfect trust
I am perfect change
I am perfect evolution
I AM

The third dimension is time and space, where the physical and the non-physical intersect. So imagine you are a being of Light consciousness and you decide to enter this third dimension, this game board, this hologame, this life, which has certain rules and requirements. The first rule is you must enter the game under the veil of forgetfulness, you must enter unaware that you are a divine being of Light.

Faith…

When you come to the edge of all the light you have,
And are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown,
Faith is knowing one of two things will happen:
There will be something solid to stand on,
Or you will be taught how to fly.

We are here on Earth trying to find our path, but we get so serious that we forget how to play and how to enjoy ourselves. We even convince ourselves and others that we are too old to play. That life is too serious to have fun.

Still, parents feel the happiest when their children thrive, when they see them laugh and enjoying themselves. So when did we stop to be children? And why?

Children have great faith in everything and everyone. Their faith creates space, space to find their perfect way, their particular path where they can develop, grow and flourish. They never doubt there is this perfect path where we can use our talents and enjoy while we are working. They justenjoy every minute of the here and now without questioning and their capacity of wonder is infinite. So what happened, where did we change?

Lets allow ourselves time and space to enjoy the things that gave us joy when we were children. To remember the preciousness of fantasy and imagination and honor the playfulness of spirit that lets everybody win. When we are able to trust and have faith in the perfect plan, we can relax.

Life is as it is and we are exactly where we are supposed to be, we do what we are supposed to do, so let’s make the best of it.

‎"When a caterpillar enters metamorphosis into a butterfly it enters a chrysalis stage. The caterpillar’s new cells are called "imaginal cells."

They resonate at a different frequency. They are so totally different from the caterpillar cells that his immune system thinks they are enemies... and the first thing it does is try to attack it. But these new imaginal cells continue to appear, more andmore of them! Pretty soon, the caterpillar's immune system cannot destroy them fast enough. More and more of the imaginal cells survive. And then an amazing thing happens! The little tiny lonely imaginal cells start to clump together, into friendly little groups. They all resonate together at the same frequency, passing information from one to another.

Then, after a while, another amazing thing happens! The clumps of imaginal cells start to cluster together!... a long string of clumping and clustering imaginal cells, all resonating at the same frequency, all passing information from one to another there inside the chrysalis. Once the imaginal cell clusters reach a tipping point, the whole paradigm changes and the caterpillar realises it is shifting into something more magnificent. It surrenders to the change and becomes a butterfly.

You are the imaginal cells within society. This is natural, conscious evolution."

A wise woman who was traveling in the mountains found a precious stone in a stream. The next day she met another traveler who was hungry, and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food. The hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked the woman to give it to him. She did so without hesitation. The traveler left, rejoicing in his good fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime. But a few days later he came back to return the stone to the wise woman. "I've been thinking," he said, "I know how valuable the stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious. Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me the stone." - Author Unknown
